Due to the public health state of emergency declared by the Governor and a statewide judicial emergency declared by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia, and pursuant to Rule 9.1 and 9.2 of the Uniform Rules of the Superior Courts of Georgia, and the Supreme Court of Georgia’s clarification and amendment to USCR 9.1 and 9.2 on March 27, 2020, the Superior Courts of the Pataula Circuit will conduct hearings and court sessions wholly by remote video conference until further notice.

The public is allowed in the main courtroom of the county’s courthouse to view the remote video conference.  Any members of the public are reminded of and required to comply with social distancing guidelines including being at least six (6) feet from other individuals in the courtroom.
